We've got 3 days left now before we head off on the first leg of the circumnavigation of the UK, so we've given the guys a full weekend off, so they can all be at home for the last time in 6 weeks (apart from Dylan, who came up from the South coast so he's stayed with us instead).
We've still got some bits to cover before we go, but Wednesday looks to be the departure day. Unfortunately, the tide is early, so it's going to be an early start, though it does mean we can get to somewhere like Bangor, NI at a reasonable time.

June 21st saw the latest crew join us here at Four Points West, for the start of the Summer Fasttrack 2009. Ahead of them lies an adventure of a lifetime, as they learn all the skills and gain all the experiences necessary to become Yachtmaster Skippers.
The Fasttrack sailing course is a 14-16 week skipper training programme, taking the candidates from complete beginners to experienced Yachtmaster Offshore skippers.
From our base in Maryport, West Cumbria, they embark on a circumnavigation of the UK, learning new skills with every passing day, until they leave our company, fully qualified Yachtmaster skippers, 14-16 weeks later.
On board are:
Dylan, Iain, Casey & Phil.
Their instructors will be:
John Jennings, Martin Davies, Darren Corlett & myself, Simon Parkinson.
